Taylor Swift Responds to Dave Grohl’s Claim That She Didn’t Perform Live on Eras Tour

Taylor Swift appears to have hit back at Dave Grohl for suggesting that she and her band not perform live on her Eras tour.

The 55-year-old Foo Fighters frontman told the crowd at a London concert on Saturday (June 22) that he dubbed the band’s show the “Errors Tour” because they’ve been through “more eras and more f*** wrong” because “we actually played it live”.

Swift, 34, appeared to respond to Grohl’s innuendo on stage at Wembley on Sunday night (June 23), as she thanked fans for watching her three-and-a-half-hour performance.

Swift told a packed stadium of 90,000 people at the third London show of her Eras tour that her band deserved “so much” recognition.

She told fans: “What you just did is not only an unforgettable moment in my life, but an unforgettable moment in the lives of every one of our staff. The band will play live for you for three and a half hours tonight.”

“They deserved it, every one of my performers deserved it, and you so generously gave it to us. We will never forget it.

Swift fans criticized Grohl for making jokes about the pop star and her band. “Oh Tayvoodoo is coming for him, he deserves it,” one user wrote on X/Twitter. “It’s impossible to accept that a woman is more talented and more successful.”

Another fan added: “Wow, Grohl is so washed up that he has to use Taylor’s name for free PR? It’s embarrassing, he’s better than that, what a shame.

On the third night of the Eras tour, Swift’s NFL player boyfriend Travis Kelce made a surprise appearance on stage to perform “The Smallest Man Who Ever.” Lived). tortured poets department album, pretending to be one of Swift’s backup dancers.

In a clip shared on X (formerly Twitter), Kelce can be seen wearing a tuxedo and black top hat before walking towards Swift, who was playing dead on the stage floor.

While it’s usually a backup dancer who picks up Swift and carries her onto the stage during concerts, this time it was her boyfriend who took over. After placing Swift on the red couch, he began to join in the performance, introducing her next song, “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

As two backup dancers began to lift Swift’s arms and legs, Kelce was holding a white fan, which he used to fan himself and then his girlfriend, waking her up.

“This is not on my bingo card,” one fan reacted, while another said: “This is a superstar pairing I didn’t expect!”
