The Fall Hoboken Arts + Music Festival is This Weekend

As we say goodbye to summer and hello to fall, a highly anticipated Hoboken event is just around the corner. The Hoboken Fall Arts + Music Festival returns on Sunday, October 1 on Washington Street between Observer Highway and Seventh Street. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., residents can peruse displays and sales by artists, craftspeople, food vendors and local businesses. Read on to learn more about this year’s Fall Arts + Music Festival in Hoboken.

On Sunday, October 1, Washington Street (from Observer Highway to Seventh Street) will be blocked off for local artisans, food vendors, and businesses to market their wares and services at the Fall Arts + Music Festival. Locals can shop, browse and peruse from 11am to 6pm.

An arts and “music” festival, there will also be live music on two stages on Washington Street between Sixth and Seventh Streets. Feelies are the headliners of the festival, with entertainment including:

  • 3 p.m. — Bongos
  • 4:45PM — Feeling

7th street stage

  • 2:50 PM — Gene D. Plumber with Ed Fogarty and friends

According to the City of Hoboken, “The Hoboken Spring Arts + Music Festival is funded in part by a grant from the New Jersey State Department of Travel and Tourism and sponsored by Burgiss, Ironstate, Veolia, Wonder Lofts Hoboken, This Is It Productions, New York +New Jersey Port Authority and WFUV.

While applications for vendor spots are now closed for local artists, crafters and food vendors, volunteers are still needed to help with vendor setup on the morning of the event. For more information, email Cultural Affairs Administrator Geri Fallo at gfallo@hobokennj.gov.
