LOWER PROVIDENCE — The Community Arts Center (414 Plush Mill Road, Wallingford) will host its 12th Annual Tie-Dye Music Festival on Saturday, July 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. on the center’s side lawn.
In case of rain, the event will be held in the Grand Gallery.
Presented by PNC Bank, this free family event for all ages connects the community through music and art, including a night of live music and tie-dye activities.
The event will feature live music performances by three bands, including folk rock band Out of Order, reggae and Grateful Dead tribute band Dread the Dead, and bluegrass/Americana band Wood Sounds.
During the musical performance, attendees can participate in the creative and colorful tie-dye process. Event T-shirts are available for $15, and guests can tie-dye for free.
Guests may also bring up to three of their own tie-dye items for $5 each.
CAC staff, volunteers, and resident tie-dye artist Morgan Bensel will be on hand to help participants complete the tie-dye process and achieve the desired design and color for the finished product.
Dos Gringos Mexican Kitchen will have a food truck on site from 5 to 7 p.m., and bottled water and soft pretzels will be available for purchase. Attendees may bring food and drinks.
Pets are not allowed. Indoor single restrooms will be available during the event. Admission is free and no reservation is required.
Participating vendors include The Potters Guild, which provides ceramics; and Gratefulicorice, which offers rare vintage Grateful Dead shirts and more.
Movable seating is located on the lawn. Participants may bring blankets or chairs and umbrellas for use in sunny areas.

Delaware Hospice expands to Delco
Hospice of Delaware is expanding into southern Pennsylvania with a new office in Glen Mills. The building is located at 1786 Wilmington West Chester Pike Ste. 301A, Glen Mills.
Hospice of Delaware has been serving Delaware since 1982 and will continue to support residents of the First State and southern Pennsylvania.

PCS Theater presents “Honk” this month
PCS Theater will present “Honk,” a heartwarming musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Ugly Duckling,” July 12-21.
The production, the finale of the theater’s 112th season of children’s series, will be performed in the theater’s 300-seat, fully accessible, air-conditioned auditorium.
“Honk!” is a witty and heartwarming musical that tells the story of The Ugly Duckling, a little duck who is shunned for his unusual appearance. Through his adventures and the friends he meets along the way, Ugly learns that being different is not only okay, but worth celebrating. The musical’s message of acceptance and self-love resonated with audiences of all ages.
Cast includes Chris Monaco, Sarah Robbins, Chelsea French, Katherine Pepe Coleman, Mia Rae Sanchez, Aaron Shawn, Alexis Lounsbury, Joel Johnson, Taron Goldsborough, Alex Pollard, Lauren Ciadullo, Riley Young Walker and Kevin Gehringer.

Schoolhouse announces Christmas in July
The Schoolhouse Center (600 Swarthmore Ave., Folsom) will host a Christmas in July event on Thursday, July 25, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
