Bumbershoot 2024 drops full music lineup


The full line-up for Bumbershoot 2024 is here, including a weekend of music, local food and visual arts from August 31 to September 1.

For more than 50 years, the festival has brought the best musical talent, creators, artists and festival-goers to the Pacific Northwest. Last year, the festival celebrated its 50th anniversary, which also marked its triumphant return after the pandemic shutdown.

Tickets go on sale in March, with single-day passes priced at $70 and two-day passes priced at $125.

This iconic festival has been a part of the Pacific Northwest for more than 50 years, and this year’s event will be held during the Labor Day weekend of August 31st and September 1st.

What’s the music line-up for Bumbershoot 2024?

Headlining music acts include indie rock legends Pavement, songwriters James Blake, Kurt Vile, Courtney Barnett, Freddie Gibbs, Aly & AJ and Kim Gordon.

Other artists include BADBADNOTGOOD, Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES fame, Cypress Hill, Cal Cox, Lee Fields, Mercury Rev, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Internet meme and loop pedal aficionado Marc Rebillet, and more.

Which visual artists will be participating in Bumbershoot 2024?

“Driven by renewed ambition, optimism, and a mission to elevate and honor the Pacific Northwest’s proudly diverse community of artists, creators, and performers, Bumbershoot’s 2024 Visual Arts will showcase some of the region’s best,” organizers said. Talented artist.

Chief among them is the newly launched animation area, which will showcase visual effects demos from visual effects supervisors Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Ultraman: Rise, Nimona, and more. It will also include the Bigfoot Deepfake Competition, experimental animation, augmented reality, gaming and contemporary art. All of this is a preview of the yet-to-be-announced 2025 animation festival.

Other artist line-ups include 21st Century Zone, Lounge, Fashion Zone, Out of Sight, Geodesic Dome, If You Know You Know, Unusually Underrated and Free Artists Strolling the Festival Grounds.

What foods will be available at Bumbershoot 2024?

Music and visual art are great, but where can a lad get a bite to eat? Bumbershoot will feature many of the Pacific Northwest restaurants, restaurants, breweries and wineries.

“Seattle’s highly regarded restaurants will line the festival grounds to celebrate the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. The culinary arts program continues Bumbershoot’s community-driven mission of offering regionally focused cuisine designed to celebrate, challenge, comfort, and have fun , uplifting and indulgent,” organizers said. “Come to the festival hungry and leave with delicious food from your new favorite restaurant.”

Standout restaurants include Local Tide for seafood dishes and Musang for authentic Filipino cuisine, both of which were named to the New York Times’ best restaurants in Seattle list. Other specialty restaurants include Eva’s Wild, Mamnoon Street Eats, Gold Coast Ghal, MariPili Tapas Bar, Ballard Pizza Co., Big Max Burger, Indigo Cow and more.
