The 2024 East End Arts Festival kicks off a feast of music, dance and comedy


East End Arts Festival opens at Templemore Baths

The 2024 EastEnd Arts Festival kicked off yesterday at Templemore Baths in east Belfast.

The festival runs from July 25 to August 4 and features a variety of entertainment including music, comedy, dance, theatre, cabaret, talks, tours, films and family activities.

Belfast Mayor Mickey Murray, who helped launch the festival, said: “We are delighted to see the festival continue to grow and develop. I am also delighted to see our newly refurbished Templemore Baths and CS Lewis Square takes the spotlight. I wish the artists, organizers and all participants the best of luck and hope everyone attending this year’s East End Festival is entertained and inspired.

Roisin McDonough, Chief Executive of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, said: “East End Arts has raised the overall profile of the arts in east Belfast and created an environment in which artists can flourish. They show how a vibrant arts, culture and entertainment scene can help through Shared creative experiences take the lead and bring people and communities closer.
