2024 Yicao Summer Music and Art Festival


Baltimore County’s premier cultural event kicks off summer once again! Rain or shine, more than 7,000 people are expected to gather for the free two-day festival hosted by the nonprofit Baltimore County Arts Guild (BCAG), featuring curated artist vendors, live music, entertainment for all ages section of fun activities as well as specialty food and beer from the United States.

Guests can view and purchase unique works of art from more than 40 top diverse artisans from Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia who specialize in glass, acrylic and watercolor painting, photography, pottery, Mixed media, 3D, jewelry, sculpture, woodworking, furniture and more.

In addition to a variety of artwork, guests can enjoy picturesque pints – two specialty beers created by Guinness for Arts & Drafts, available on draft and in cans: Blueberry Lime Ale and Harmonic Haze.

There will be exciting performances during the festival – jazz, reggae/soul/ by the Kevin Howard Band

R&B by the Brian Cunningham Project, eclectic rock/funk/rock by Pineapple Band and Skies in Chaos and Irish dance by The Pilgrims of Deep Run.

Other event highlights are as follows:

● Draw life-size artwork for special photoshoots

● Design magnets and other hands-on art activities

● Explore two levels of Guinness history

● Pair Baltimore-brewed beers with items from Guinness’ seasonal menu

● Learn to pour a perfect pint of Guinness draft beer

● Personalize your pint of Guinness draft beer and make it the perfect photo with a selfie

● Lawn games

Admission is free (no tickets or registration required) and open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult of legal drinking age at all times. Guinness Open Gate Brewery offers ample parking. For those traveling or wanting a short Lyft/Uber/taxi ride to the brewery, the MARC Halethorpe and BWI Amtrak stations are nearby.
