Richardson hosts Wildflowers!Arts and Music Festival May 17-19


Individuals wishing to purchase tickets for Richardson’s Annual Wildflowers! Discounted resident tickets are still available for purchase through May 17 for the arts and music festival, according to a city news release.

Discounted tickets can also be purchased in person for $18 or online for $15 as long as the individual can provide proof of residence in Richardson, such as a city utility bill, a driver’s license with a Richardson address or a phone bill.

Overview

According to the press release, discounted tickets can be purchased in person at the following four city facilities:

  • Richardson Gymnastics Center, 300 E. Arapahoe Road
  • Highlands Recreation Center, 711 West Arapaho Road
  • Huffins Recreation Center, 200 N. Plano Road
  • Richardson Senior Center, 820 W. Arapaho Road, Ste. 100

Discounted tickets must be purchased in person by the May 15 deadline or online by May 17 at 5 p.m. Discounted single-day tickets are limited to six per household and can be used on any date of the show.

After May 17, tickets purchased at the event will cost more.

Wildflowers! The arts and music festival will be held in the Gallatin City Center, just north of Gallatin Parkway and east of U.S. Highway 75.

The three-day event will also feature a battle of the bands, a songwriting competition and more.

City staff also updated the policy to prohibit the use of portable chairs and blankets near the amphitheater stage during the festival.
