Headwaters Music and Arts will host “Nature’s Canvas” adult arts camp


BEMIDJI — Headwaters Music and Arts will host “Nature’s Canvas” Adult Arts Camp, a five-day immersive experience designed for ages 16 and up.

Maximum of 15 participants. Classes will explore the intersection of art and nature June 10-14 from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

During the camp, participants will learn to make their own nature journals, quills, ink, dream catchers, baskets and earth art mobile phones. The camp’s program is designed to help participants develop artistic skills and introduce them to sustainable art practices.

Locations such as Movil Maze, Paul Bunyan Park and Diamond Point Park will feature on nature walks to inspire artists. Participants will connect with like-minded people, share their creations, and leave with a deeper appreciation for nature and art.

The cost to attend is $140, which includes a $40 non-refundable deposit per person. Space is limited, please register in advance. Please register online at headwatersmusicandarts.org or call (218) 444-5606.
