Richardson officials have announced the musical lineup for the city’s upcoming Wildflowers Musical! Arts and Music Festival.

The annual three-day music festival features Nile Rodgers & Chic, Randy Rodgers Band, Awolnation, Grouplove, KC & The Sunshine Band, Saint Motel, The Struts and Sister Sledge. More actions will be announced in the coming weeks, according to a city news release.
This year’s festival is scheduled for May 17-19 at the Gallatin Park City Center, just north of Gallatin Park Boulevard on the east side of Route 75. Market for goods, children’s activities and more.
Tickets are available online for $25 for a Friday-Saturday pass and $10 for a Sunday pass through May 17, with prices increasing thereafter. Richardson residents can also purchase discounted $18 tickets in person through May 18 at the Gymnastics Center, Highlands Recreation Center, Huffins Recreation Center and Senior Center.

The festival was first held in 1993, according to the Richardson Historical and Genealogical Society. Last year, despite being on hold, missing five headline acts and dealing with weather-related impacts on one of the days, the three-day festival attracted more than 15,060 attendees and generated more than $608,000 in revenue.
