River Rail Music and Arts Festival: Thursday, 1 p.m., Parrish Ranch, 15720 Parrish Road, Berthoud. Four days and three nights of great Colorado music, from bluegrass to reggae, ska to death. Parrish Campground is located on the banks of the Little Thompson River in a peaceful and private setting. There will be workshops with a number of performers, local artists in the morning and music throughout the day. There’s lots of great pick and jam sessions and band competitions. Farm fun: Friday, 9:45 a.m., Agricultural Heritage Center, 8348 Ute Highway, Longmont. Children ages 3-6 will love visiting the farm and learning about animals, plants and agricultural life.
