A very exciting live music program has been prepared for the 2024 Boyle Arts Festival.
Tickets for most of our events are now available via www.boylearts.com and from Thursday 11th July at the festival office in An Ríoga, Bridge Street.
BAF 2024 will take place from 18 to 27 July and some of the names to watch in the live music genre include Paul Brady, Stockton’s Wing, Rebecca Storm, Eddi Reader and the Alan Kelly Gang, Regina Nathan, Brídín, Mack Fleetwood, James Nelson and Those who know too much. There will be live performances from local artists The Sessions, Dave Byrne and The Regulars, as well as a Songs About Love concert featuring the best local young musical talent by Music Generation Roscommon.

St. Joseph’s Hall has once again been transformed into a music venue with a bar and will host four live concerts during BAF 2024. Mack Fleetwood take the stage for a night of classic hits, taking you on a magical musical journey from the blues days of Peter Green to the multi-platinum recording band that is still touring today.
Irish music icons, pioneers and legends Stockton’s Wing will bring their unique musical style, their stories and captivating live performances to the Boyle Festival on Saturday 20th July.
An evening with Paul Brady is a captivating experience as he invites the audience into his world of songs and music that will surprise with its intimacy, sense of fun and raw power. Songs like “The Island”, “Crazy Dreams”, “Nothing But the Same Old Story”, “Nobody Knows”, “Follow On”, “The Long Goodbye”, “The Homes of Donegal” and “Paradise Is Here” over the years It has brought joy and emotional sustenance to generations of Irish people at home and abroad. Paul will perform at St. Joseph’s Music Hall on Friday, July 26th.
BAF 2024 will conclude on July 27th with Scotland’s internationally renowned songstress, Eddi Reader of Fairground Attraction, teaming up with Ireland’s own piano and accordion master Alan Kelly and his group of renowned musicians, including Steph Geremia on flute and vocals, John on guitar Douglas and Shane McGowan Jim Higgins on percussion.
Filled with powerful instrumentation, alluring songs and effortless harmonies, it’s a beautiful blend of Scottish and Irish traditions.
The show combines the Alan Kelly Gang’s innovative perspective on Celtic repertoire with Eddie Reader’s thrilling and moving performance, leaving audiences mesmerized and ready to watch. Received praise.
The Men Who Knew Too Much will return to Dodd’s Crescent Pub on July 21 to play their exciting mix of jazz, country blues, western swing and folk, while the local set featuring Enda Regan, Adam Daly and Kevin Healy The band The Sessions will also kick off the show. The audience gave a wonderful performance.
During the festival, there will be free musical performances by Sligo Concert Band and Dukes of Uke, with performances by Christian Martin, Sean Garavan, Shane Kaye Local band The Regulars, including Shane Casey and Lorcan Connolly, will play a free afternoon show in the Royal Courtyard on 17 December 2019. They play a fast and complex style of rock that has drawn comparisons to older Irish rock artists such as The Undertones, Stiff Little Fingers, The Strokes and The Smiths.
We are delighted that Dave Byrne is back after five years away from the music industry. Dave will be performing his solo acoustic show on July 22nd at Daly’s Lounge, where you can enjoy an evening of rock, folk and pop classics from the 1950s to the 1990s.
