Music and arts event Coastal Sounds will return this June, spanning 13 kilometers of South Australia’s coast

Sounds of the Coast is back with popular free music and arts events this June long weekend, bigger than ever this year. This year’s Voices of the Coast, in partnership with the City of Port Adelaide, Enfield and Charles Sturt, spans 13 kilometers of coast from West Beach to Signal Light.

Guests can explore an eclectic mix of music, art and dance events at 11 unique locations. Local businesses will also be participating, so be sure to stop by and see what’s on offer.

Coastal Sounds runs through the picturesque West Beach, Henley, Grange and Semaphore, hosting events such as African dance workshops, break dancing showdowns and chalk art. The event will be held on Monday the 10th from 11:00am to 5:00pm and is the perfect way for families to spend an extra day off. Plus, there’s no fee to attend any show or event!

Winter music and art events are both eclectic and long-distance. A diverse program of musical styles and artistic performances celebrates artists of all ages. With no stage or speakers, everyone’s performances range from emerging to established artists, each willing to share their music and passion with the coast as a backdrop.

This unique music event, supported by the City of Charles Sturt’s Live and Local Grants Scheme, invites people to enjoy an afternoon of intimate performances on the beach in winter.
