Eclectic Creole Classical Latin Music at Beckett Center for the Arts

The Beckett Center for the Arts is pleased to announce
Its outdoor summer music series will begin at 5pm on Saturday, June 8, with a touring performance by Criollo Clasico, one of the most eclectic and exciting Caribbean bands working today. Jose Gonzales, a guitarist, composer and master of the cuatro, Puerto Rico’s national instrument, leads the band. He has performed with symphony orchestras and leading Latin musicians. He has also produced 20 CDs, the latest of which, “Caribe Festivo,” is a non-stop, high-energy Latin dance party. Bring lawn chairs, coolers, snacks and kids.
The event is part of BAC’s “Music Brings Communities Together” series and is free, but donations are welcome.
