The festival has 120 participating artists
Center stage at the festival are the 120 participating artists, who showcase their talents in the two-month Summer Fine Arts Exhibition. This professionally juried art exhibition showcases a wide variety of artwork including paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, jewelry and more, all made by artists from across Orange County. Since its inception in 1932, the festival has become a platform for thousands of artists to exhibit and sell their work, many of which are in private collections of respected art collectors, celebrities and museums around the world.
Festival attendees will also have the opportunity to interact directly with the artists and gain insight into their inspirations, techniques and creative processes. Interactive art classes (sponsored by Bank of America), live demonstrations, and art tours (sponsored by PBS SoCal) further enrich the visitor experience and promote deeper connections between creators and audiences. The festival features live concerts and a variety of event series every day during the two-month summer season, sponsored by City of Hope Orange County and Yamaha. After its debut at South Coast Plaza, Music of Hope will continue to perform at the festival throughout the summer. City of Hope’s blue “Hope” piano will feature prominently on the festival stage as a tribute to everyone whose lives have been affected by cancer. As part of this partnership, the festival presents “Spotlight on Hope Music Blue Piano” on select Saturday nights, showcasing talented musicians who will enrich the lives of community members through this uplifting concert series.
