The festival will only take place in Dubai on Saturday, May 4th and 5th.

What is Micro

Haven’t heard of Micro before? While you’ll hear some cool beats, this isn’t just a music festival.

It is a cultural gathering that explores music, visual arts, design and innovation led by technology and creativity. In addition to art and music showcases, there will be panel discussions and workshops aimed at promoting growth and innovation in the UAE’s creative industries.

This is what to expect during the holidays

in fashion specific, Nocturne will bring the night to life with a series of electronic music performances and live music production featuring Mathew Jonson and Salar Ansari Trio, as well as Grammy Award winners Luis Resto and Pathe Jassi. The performances are complemented by captivating visuals synchronized to the beat of the music. Captures will be available after 10pm on both days.

For an immersive 360-degree audio-visual experience, go to Hemisphere 141. Live performances at the dome take place both days. You’ll hear can’t-miss performances from Canada’s Line Katcho, Stefana Fratila x Diana Lynn VanderMeulen and Idlefon, all accompanied by surreal 360-degree visuals.

Some insights into the world of digital art, Digital laboratory – The festival’s professional and educational daytime programming will delve into the creative industries. The panel discussed insights into modern industry issues, creative practices and industry trends.

For a hands-on experience, you can attend workshops for emerging musicians, visual designers, and more.

This year, has partnered with Blocklive and every ticket purchased will include a unique, collectible NFT (Non-Fungible Token) – an exclusive artwork created in collaboration with Amir B Ash.

All individual tickets will be combined into a collective piece, creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art that will be auctioned at the end of the festival. Proceeds will be donated to environmental charities registered in the UAE to offset the festival’s environmental footprint.
