Al Park quickly became a rising star on the national comedy scene. He has won competitions at the Boston Comedy Festival and the Cleveland Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition. In 2019, he was invited to perform at the National Comedy Center in Jamestown, New York. Named Boston’s best comedian by Inappropriate Bostonian magazine, Parker blends keen observation, cultural irony and a generous dose of self-deprecation to create a unique, authentic comedic voice. With Juno and ADISQ nominations and four Canadian Folk Music Awards, GENTICORUM is one of the leading groups in Quebec’s traditional music scene. Two of the trio’s founding members, Pascal Gemme (violin) and Yann Falquet (guitar), were also recognized for their solid contributions to the traditional music scene.
